The DCX building is certified Platinum (80 points minimum) under the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED 2009 for Core & Shell rating system. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) green building rating system. It is a voluntary program that rewards sustainable development and building operations.
